Writer
I worked as an engineer and engineering manager for over forty years. A few years before retirement I began writing my first novel. When I retired I began writing sci-fi/fantasy as an occupation because of my love for the genre. It also kept me out from underfoot of my wife of over fifty years. My Christian beliefs and worldview play an integral part in the characters and themes of my writing.
Grandfather
I am a father of three, a grandfather of ten, and a great-grandfather of one. Spending time with my family brings me joy. Whether it is family gatherings, watching the grandkids play sports, or taking one or more of them fishing.
Colorado
I live in the beautiful state of Colorado which means there are majestic views every day. When I take our dog for a walk each morning at our local park, Pikes Peak, and the Garden of the Gods stick up in the clear morning air. Spending time in the mountains provides therapeutic relief when the stress of life gets heavy. It is God’s country and his presence is everywhere.
